All customers are required to fill out an ATF 4473 and have an FBI NICS Background Check done when they arrive to pick up their firearm. There are no exceptions. If any individual is denied through the FBI NICS Background Check, the firearm will be shipped back to the originating sender.Under no circumstances will the firearm be transferred to a third party if you are found to be denied. This alleviates the potential for Brokaw Arms to be responsible for performing as "Straw Purchase."
All individuals that are a resident of Illinois must provide their Firearms Owners Identification Card (FOID) for any purchase. Your FOID card will be photo copied and kept on record.

The following information only applies to those individuals on Active Duty (Title 10 with PCS orders) and do not have a Drivers License issued from the state they are stationed in.
If you are Active Duty (Title 10 with PCS orders) and stationed in the same state you plan on purchasing a firearm from, you qualify as a resident of both the state you have listed as your Home of Record, and the state you are stationed in. All members on Active Duty must provide a valid Drivers License and must bring a copy of your PCS Orders when you come to pick up your firearm. This verifies residency in both states. Transfer will not take place if you do not have a copy of your orders.
